Delete your Covee account

You can delete your Covee account and the data associated with it at any time. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Option 1 — Delete from inside the app (fastest)

1. Open Covee and sign in.
2. Go to the Profile tab.
3. Scroll to the bottom of the page.
4. Tap Delete Account under the Account section.
5. Confirm in the dialog. Your account and data will be removed immediately.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you no longer have the app installed or can't sign in, email official.connectapp@gmail.com from the email address on your Covee account. We will process the request and confirm deletion within 7 days.

What gets deleted

• Your profile (name, email, phone number, bio, profile photo)
• Your profile photo in our storage bucket
• Activities you created, including their chat messages
• Your participation in activities hosted by others (you're removed from participant, invited, and co-host lists)
• Your friend connections (you're removed from other users' friend lists)
• Friend requests you sent
• Invitations you sent or received
• Your Covee login credentials (Firebase Authentication record)
• Push notification tokens registered to your device

What is retained

• Chat messages you sent in activities hosted by others — these remain visible to the host and other participants, but are no longer attributable to your account (your name is replaced with "Deleted user").
• Anonymized aggregate metrics — counts of activities created, users signed up, etc. used for product analytics. These contain no personal identifiers.
• System logs — standard server logs (Firebase/Google Cloud) that may contain IP addresses and request timestamps. Google retains these per its own policy, typically 30 days or less.
